I began at the International School of Tucson, a great little school where I began learning to speak Spanish, Mandarin, and German. I bounced around schools for a little while before finding Satori Charter and Middle School, a school so small that there were 16 students in my 8th grade graduating class.
I was accepted into Tucson High Magnet School’s music program. Though this school seemed to have many opportunities, the "education" part of public education was lacking and I needed something different.
Towards the end of my sophomore year, my mother found an alternative through a friend online: Independent Minds Academy, and I learned I could graduate a full year early through Pacific Sands Academy and start my life! Because I love to write, I really liked the fact that I could convey my knowledge of topics through writing. I was allowed to work towards the goals that I had had in mind since the end of my schooling at Tucson High.
